UEAU PhD Scholarship 2025 | Fully Funded Study Opportunity in the UAE

The "PhD Scholarship" is intended to recruit high-achieving graduate students in specific majors at UAEU and offer them with full and ongoing financial support to continue their graduate studies at UAEU.

The PhD Scholarship Awards are based on a competitive criteria that considers candidates' qualifications (e.g., GPA, journal articles, conference presentations, patents, GRE score, recommendation letters, etc.) as well as where they graduated. Applicants must send copies of all of their credentials at the time of application submission.

Eligibility Criteria

Have a Master's degree with a GPA of at least 3.5/4.0
Have no employment or other financial support
Have a dissertation in one of the UAE's priority sectors (renewable energy, transportation, health, water, technology, and space)

Extra Bonus - Up to AED 3,000 from the supervisor's external research project and Up to AED 2,000 from the supervisor's internal research project

Duties and Expectations

Maintain a GPA of ≥3.3 at the PhD level
Be enrolled full-time (minimum of 9 credits per semester) at the PhD level.
Be available at UAEU full-time.
Commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week on courses and/or research projects throughout the year.
