The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of SCIENCE, University of Copenhagen
Option A:
For the regular PhD programme (5+3 scheme), applicants must have completed a degree programme equivalent to a Danish master’s degree in Atmospheric Sciences, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or Physics.
Option B:
For the integrated MSc and PhD programme (3+5 scheme), applicants must have a degree equivalent to a Danish bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Applicants must hold a Master’s degree or its equivalent before submitting the application.
During the PhD program, candidates must be enrolled at a doctoral degree-awarding institution, such as a university, and be anchored at an administrating host institution in Denmark.
The host institution, where the candidate will be employed and conduct the majority of their work, can be a university, museum, or art academy.
Enrollment and hosting letters from the respective institutions must be attached to the application.
The Ph.D. scholarship is fully funded by the Sino-Danish Centre for Education and Research (SDC) for a duration of three years.

Admissible Criteria: To be eligible to apply for these positions, applicants need to have or be about to obtain either a BSc or an MSc degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field. The successful candidates are expected to have a strong background and passionate interest in mathematics and theoretical computer science, as demonstrated by excellent grades in relevant courses, or by results at the Olympiads of Mathematics or Informatics, or by publications in relevant internationally recognized conferences or journals.

Eligibility
The number of scholarships available is 2 for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers/professors.
The Aarhus University offers the student the costs of reasonable accommodation, food, reimbursement for the travel expenses. If required, it also reimburses the expenses for fees to Danish authorities for obtaining a visa and/or work and residence permit corresponding to the current level of fees up to €2500 per month.
The students are expected to provide a notice before the arrival.
