The Travel Award will only be granted for forward projects. Applications cannot be made for travel that has already occurred.
The Travel Award cannot be given twice to the same person, but previously unsuccessful candidates are encouraged to re-apply.
Applicants must apply before July 31st of each year to be considered for that year’s Travel Award.
The project must be for travel to a meeting, seminar, symposium, or conference, either in Australia or overseas, as part of a tertiary course of study. The travel must further the applicant’s studies and/or research.
AU$2,000 to AU$4,000, depending on the duration of your study course, academic level and course duration.

Overseas Students Health Cover [OSHC] for scholarship holders or international students recipients of all categories and study courses.
Travel Insurance:
Provided to international recipients for arrival to Australia at the beginning of study course and at the end of study course for returning back to the native land.
To be considered for the Clara Myers Prize, candidates must excel in the Child and Adolescent Health assessments, particularly in the Principles of Clinical Practice 3 (PCP3A) course of the Doctor of Medicine program.

Have an unconditional offer of admission or be currently enrolled to study in a Masters by Research or PhD within the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney.
Conduct research related to the ARC projects for which you have applied.
Conduct research under the supervision of researchers who hold the ARC grant that funds the project for which you have applied.
The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the university.
You need to be a new international student starting studies in 2024 at specific campuses: Wagga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Port Macquarie, or Albury, enrolled in a full CRICOS-registered degree program.
You need to secure accommodation before December 31, 2023 if you will commence in Session 1 2024, or 31 May 2024 if you will commence in Session 2, 2024. The scholarship considers single-room occupancy in our campus buildings.
