CFO and Vice President Finance

The Aga Khan University is a global institution committed to international standards of excellence in teaching, research and service. Its teaching hospital, Aga Khan University Hospital has been accredited by the prestigous Joint Commission International for achieving the highest international healthcare standards.

Reporting directly to the President, the CFO and Vice President (VP) Finance is an integral member of the Executive Committee of the University and is accountable for development of a financial strategy and administration of all financial operations of the University. Managing a global finance team of 400, the CFO and VP Finance will undertake and oversee the preparation of financial feasibilities, develop and monitor control systems designed to preserve organisation assets, monitor adherence to the budget, and report accurate financial results.

The CFO and VP Finance should be a strategic thinker with the vision, capacity, knowledge and expertise to set a direction for the finance function. The role requires a driven, evidence-based and entrepreneurial finance leader, with extensive experience in a senior leadership position, managing a large and complex global organisation and the ability to work in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.
