Women University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K), Bagh—established under the AJ&K Legislative Assembly Act VII of 2014—is a distinguished public sector institution committed to the advancement of higher education. The University is now seeking applications from eminent academicians and internationally reputed scholars for the prestigious position of Vice Chancellor.

This leadership role demands a visionary individual who can uphold academic excellence and further the mission of the University.

Essential Qualification and Experience

Candidates must fulfill the following minimum eligibility criteria:

• Educational Qualification:
  A PhD degree awarded by an institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

• Professional Experience:
  A minimum of 20 years of experience in teaching, research, or academic administration. This must include at least five (5) years as a full professor in an HEC-recognized university/institution or an equivalent position in a national or international research and development organization.

• Leadership & Administrative Experience:
  Proven track record in leadership positions such as Chairman, Principal, Director of an institute or academic center, Dean, or an equivalent administrative role.

• Demonstrated Expertise:
  A strong profile in teaching, research output, fund management, and academic leadership.

• Age Limit:
  The applicant should not be more than 65 years old on the closing date for application submission.
