Position Announcement: Vice Chancellor

Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET) is a leading teaching and research institution offering Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate Programs in various fields of Engineering, Science, Technology, and Business. SSUET invites applications for the position of Vice Chancellor from highly dynamic, committed, and energetic professionals.

Role Overview:

The Vice Chancellor, as both the academic and administrative head, is expected to:

Exhibit visionary leadership with a proven track record.
Demonstrate high administrative and leadership qualities.
Possess strong teaching and research credentials.
Have in-depth knowledge of major developments in higher education, learning, and teaching.
Maintain an amicable personality with an excellent entrepreneurial mindset.
Exhibit great interpersonal and communication skills with a strong ability to work collaboratively.
Qualifications and Experience:

Ph.D. degree in Engineering from a renowned international or national university/institute approved by HEC.
Minimum of 15 years of teaching experience in renowned HEC recognized universities/institutes.
At least 5 years of experience as VC/Pro-VC/Dean in renowned HEC recognized universities/institutes.
Preferable experience in academic administration as Registrar/Director/HoD.
Minimum of 15 Research Journal Publications.
Age limit: 55 to 65 years.
Salary:

Based on academic qualifications and experience.
