POSITION OF VICE-CHANCELLOR SHAH ABDUL LATIF UNIVERSITY KHAIRPUR
The Government of Sindh invites applications from the renowned academician, accomplished and motivated academic leaders, dynamic professional having managerial and financial leadership skills for the position of Vice Chancellor, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur.
CONTRACT PERIOD
4 Years (extendable)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Professor or eligible to be a Professor as per HEC Criteria.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 20 years' experience including 10 years administrative, financial, academic experience on the position(s) of Vice Chancellor / Rector / President / Pro-Vice Chancellor / Dean / Chairman / Registrar / Principal in any University / Degree According Institute / College OR in BPS-17 & above or equivalent in Public Sector or reputable National/International Private Organization.
PRIMARY JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To promote quality education
To promote Research & Development Projects
To establish National / International linkages with Industrial Sector and renowned Institutions
To plan sustainable business model
Data gathering and analysis of various Industrial sectors
JOB SKILLS
The incumbent shall have analytical and critical thinking skills, exceptional written, spoken and presentation skills. Strong ability to collect, differentiate and analyze qualitative and quantitative data as well as fully understanding on finances.
AGE LIMIT
Maximum 62 years on closing date
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
Only applicants having Sindh Domicile are eligible.
The remuneration will be market based, commensurate with qualifications.
No TA/DA will be admissible for interview.
