In continuation of the advertisement dated 27.06.2024, applications are invited for the following posts purely on a Daily Wages/Contingent basis, supporting Departmental Funds/Contingent Paid Staff for a specified period of days, as per conditions laid down in the Policy Framework for Work Charge Employees Daily Wagers/Contingents of Government of the Punjab S&GAD Regulations Wing 25.01.2021 and University of the Punjab Chief Security Officer University of the Punjab Lahore:

Terms and Conditions:

  • Applications on Daily Wages/Contingent Basis will be accepted.
  • Applications under any circumstances other than those specified in the advertisement will not be accepted by the University.
  • Further, Law Court related conditions and instructions for further engagement are applicable.

How to Apply:

  • Candidates are advised to fill in the application form along with an updated CV, copies of Degrees/Certificates, CNIC, and a copy of the application form (duly signed by the Competent Authority).
  • An application without the Departmental Permission Certificate/NOC from the candidate's employer, failing to produce an NOC at the time of selection, will result in disqualification.

Instructions & General Conditions:

  • Applications must be submitted online through the specified portal.
  • Applications received after the closing date or with incorrect information, intentionally or unintentionally during online submission, will not be accepted or considered in any case.
  • Applications with incomplete documents during the receipt of hard copies without assigning any reason will be rejected.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
  • No TA/DA will be given to candidates called for the interview.
  • Higher qualifications and experience will be preferred.

Appointments:

  • Appointments of Daily Wages/Contingent Work Charged Employees shall be made and paid in accordance with the procedure laid down in the Schedule of Wage Rates 2023 for employees of such categories issued by the Government of Punjab, Finance Department.
  • Candidates are required to deposit the processing fee as required in the advertisement in any branch of HBL or UBL. The fee must be deposited on the prescribed challan form generated online, and the original receipt must be provided along with the hard copy of the application form.
  • Candidates applying for each post are required to deposit an amount of Rs. 200 separately for each post before or on the closing date. No Bank Draft or Pay Order or Cheque will be accepted by the University.
  • Applications received without the deposit receipts will be rejected.
  • Candidates wishing to apply for more than one post must apply separately and pay a separate processing fee for each post.

On the closing date, the Online Application Portal will be closed at 4:00 PM.

The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of advertised posts, or to withdraw any advertised posts without assigning any reason.

Submission Details:
Hard copies of the online application form, complete in all respects with the applicant's signature, along with attested copies of degrees/certificates/testimonials/experience certificates and a recent photograph (passport size), should reach the office of the Registrar (Administration Branch-I, Admin Block, Room 331, University of the Punjab Quaid-Azam Campus, Lahore) during office hours on or before the closing date.

Applications sent through registered post/courier will be accepted; no extra time will be allowed for postal correspondence during the selection procedure. Correspondence regarding the address/phone number change should be made through the given email.
