The University of Swabi, a Public Sector University chartered by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites applications for the following faculty positions on a regular basis:

Vacant Positions

  1. Professor in Agriculture (HPS-21)

    • Number of Positions: 1
    • Qualifications:
      • Minimum: Ph.D. from an HEC recognized institution in the relevant field.
      • Experience: 15 years of teaching/research experience at an HEC recognized university or professional experience in a national or international organization OR 10 years post-Ph.D. experience in the relevant field.
      • Publications: 15 research publications, with at least 5 in the last 5 years in HEC recognized journals.
    • Age Limit: 50 years

  2. Professor in Management (BPS-21)

    • Number of Positions: 1
    • Qualifications:
      • Ph.D. degree in the relevant field, recognized by HEC.
      • Experience: 15 years of teaching/research experience in an institution or professional experience OR 10 years post-Ph.D. in the relevant field.
      • Publications: 15 research publications, at least 5 in the last 5 years.
    • Age Limit: 50 years

  3. Professor in Computer Science (BPS-21)

    • Number of Positions: 1
    • Qualifications:
      • Ph.D. degree in the relevant field, recognized by HEC.
      • Experience: 15 years of teaching/research experience in an institution or 15 years of professional experience in the relevant field, including 5 years of teaching experience OR 10 years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience.
      • Publications: 15 research publications, with at least 5 in the last 5 years in HEC/PEC recognized journals.
    • Age Limit: 50 years

  2. Application Fee: Rs. 10,000/- (non-refundable) for application processing and research publication evaluation.

    • Online application form (printout)
    • Proof of payment (online deposit slip)
    • Attested photocopies of all relevant documents: DMCs, Degrees, Certificates, CNIC, recent photographs.
    • Dossier containing 5 sets of:
      • Research publications (with titles, journal names, years, and references)
      • Reprints of publications (including the journal's title page)
      • Curriculum Vitae

  4. Deadline: Submit the application form with the required documents to the Registrar's Office on or before February 14, 2025 via registered post/courier.

    • Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.

Important Terms & Conditions:

  1. Government or semi-government employees should apply through proper channels and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
  2. CGPA less than 3.00/4.00 will be considered second division.
  3. Foreign degree holders must provide an equivalency/relevancy certificate from HEC/IBCC.
  4. Experience/qualification gained after the closing date will not be considered.
  5. Any fake/tampered documents will result in legal action.
  6. Selected candidates will be governed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Universities Act 2012.
  7. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews. No TA/DA will be provided for the interview.
