CAREER OPPORTUNITY

The University of Karachi invites applications from qualified, experienced, and motivated individuals for the position of REGISTRAR
(Contractual: 2 Years)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Educational Qualification: First Class Master’s Degree from an HEC recognized institution.
  • Experience: At least 15 years of professional experience in Grade 17 or above or equivalent in a national or international postgraduate educational institution of repute.
  • Required Expertise: Proven track record of multidisciplinary experience in:
    • Organizational Development
    • Institutional Management
    • Human Resource Management
    • Personnel Management
    • Statutory and Regulatory Affairs
    • Public Relations
    • Resource Mobilization, including Academic Infrastructure Development
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capability to work collaboratively and inspire teams to achieve organizational excellence.
  • Age Limit: Maximum Age Limit is 62 Years.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Registrar will be responsible for providing leadership and operational support across the university, ensuring smooth governance and compliance with institutional policies.

Interested candidates meeting the above criteria are encouraged to submit their applications on prescribed forms along with a detailed CV, copies of academic certificates, and experience letters to the HRM Section, University of Karachi.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  1. Application should be submitted on the prescribed form obtainable from the HRM Section, Ground Floor, New Administration Building, University of Karachi on payment of Rs. 4,000 through Pay Order in favor of “University of Karachi”.
  2. Degree/Certificate courses must be passed from universities/boards/institutions recognized by HEC.
  3. Applications on plain paper will NOT be accepted.
  4. Maximum Age Limit for Applicants is 43 Years on the closing date of the advertisement. The condition of age is relaxable for internal candidates/government employees.
  5. Candidates already working in Government, Semi-Government, and Autonomous Organizations in Pakistan must apply through the proper channel.
  6. Applicants are required to appear for a test/interview conducted by the Selection Board of the University.
  7. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
  8. The University of Karachi reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the advertisement at any time without assigning any reason.
