Important Instructions

For Academic Positions:

  1. Applicants must submit PM&DC Experience Recognition Certificates corresponding to the positions they are applying for. If the recognition certificate is in process, evidence of submission will be required.

  2. Applicants possessing experience certificates issued by UHS or any other approved institution must get their certificates verified by PM&DC. If verification is in process, evidence of submission must be provided.

  3. The University will determine the relevancy of research publications to the applicant's specialty.

  4. BPS appointments shall be on a contract basis.

  5. The University may conduct a subject test if the number of eligible applicants exceeds a ratio of 1:5 per post.

  6. Candidates with foreign qualifications must submit an equivalence certificate issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan or PM&DC.

  7. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

  8. No TA/DA shall be admissible for the interview process.

  9. The University reserves the right to post selected applicants at any of its campuses (City Campus or Jinnah Campus, KSK).

  10. Appointments will be subject to police verification and other background checks, including references and educational/professional credentials.

  11. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.

  12. The age of applicants should not exceed 35 years as of the last date for application submission.

  13. Only candidates with Punjab domicile can apply.

  14. The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts without prior notice.

  15. Applicants working in public sector organizations or departments must apply through the proper channel.

  16. Selected applicants will be governed by the provisions of UHS Service Statutes 2005, the contract agreement, and the UHS Ordinance 2002.

Application Process:

The application process consists of two phases:

  2. Manual Submission

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Applicants must pay the prescribed application fee through a bank challan available at UHS Job Portal or at any branch of the Bank of Punjab (BOP).

    • Fee for BPS-17 & Above: Rs. 2000/-

  2. The application form must be carefully completed with all necessary details, including personal information, educational qualifications, and experience. Once submitted, the form cannot be edited.

  3. After submission, applicants must print the filled form by clicking the "DOWNLOAD AND PRINT" button. If downloading is not possible at that moment, the form can be accessed later using the "SEARCH" button.

  4. The printed form must be submitted along with attested copies of the following documents:

    • Educational certificates

    • Testimonials

    • CNIC

    • Domicile certificate

    • Passport-size colored photographs

    • Original paid bank challan

  5. The completed application must be sent to the Office of Deputy Registrar (HR), Room #12, University of Health Sciences, Khayaban-e-Jamia Punjab, Lahore, either by post or by hand at the Diary & Dispatch Section, University of Health Sciences, Lahore.

  6. Last date for submission: 26th February 2025
