Goals
Develop and Implement Strategy: Create a cohesive Marketing/Communications strategy for MoITT aligned with its subsidiaries.
Team Management: Assemble, manage, and oversee a skilled marketing/communications team.
Communication Flow: Control and oversee the flow of information between the Ministry and the public.
Department Management: Act as the face of the organization at media events and direct marketing and public relations campaigns.
Messaging Strategies: Develop effective messaging and communication strategies, overseeing the creation of promotional and informative materials for public distribution.
Media Management: Manage all forms of media, including press releases, digital campaigns, print materials, social media, audio, and video.
Brand Awareness: Identify communication gaps and opportunities to increase MoITT’s brand awareness and support the development of Marketing/Communication strategies.
Media Plan Execution: Define, manage, and execute the media plan in collaboration with local media agencies.
Agency Management: Brief and manage local media agencies based on corporate media guidelines and communication/brand strategy.
PR and Communication Strategy: Develop PR and Communication strategy for media relations, public relations, and digital marketing activities to achieve desired brand outcomes.
Budget Management: Plan, manage, and monitor the yearly communication, PR, and marketing budget.
Advertisement Management: Execute print advertisements/advertorials and liaise with relevant agencies for appropriate positioning.
Digital Marketing Support: Support digital marketing activities and seek new opportunities to promote the brand on various social media channels.
Content Management: Oversee the planning, editing, and development of content for internal communications, including intranet, magazines, or email bulletins.
Press Relations: Develop and maintain good press and public relations to maximize PR coverage and brand exposure.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with media, PR agencies, bloggers, and influencers to increase PR coverage and brand awareness.
Event Execution: Execute high-quality press events as needed.
Media Engagement: Actively inform media and key influencers on relevant subjects regarding new initiatives, projects, and campaign launches.
Crisis Communication: Develop and manage Crisis Communication, responding quickly and professionally to crises or challenging situations.
Your Typical Day at Work
Coordinate and oversee the implementation of the Marketing/Communications strategy.
Lead and manage the communications team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance.
Oversee the creation and distribution of promotional and informative materials to the public.
Manage relationships with media and PR agencies, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines.
Plan and monitor the communications budget, making adjustments as necessary.
Collaborate with digital marketing teams to enhance social media presence and brand awareness.
Review and approve content for various communication materials and distribution channels.
Prepare executive messages, internal memos, and presentations for sharing key information.
Develop and maintain internal communication strategies to ensure consistent and clear messaging within the organization.
Engage with media, bloggers, and influencers to enhance PR coverage and brand awareness.
Organize and execute press events, ensuring high standards and effective media engagement.
Monitor and respond to communication-related crises, providing timely and professional responses.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve communication strategies and tactics to support organizational goals.
Any other task as assigned by the line Management/ MoIT.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:

Master’s degree in communications, business administration, public relations, or a related field.
Work Experience:

10 years of relevant work experience in communications or a related field.
Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic communication plans.
Expertise in digital communication platforms and social media strategies.
Experience in creating and managing high-quality content for various communication channels.
Experience in engaging with internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships.
