Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the following post for a three (03) year contract (not extendable) at the University of the Punjab, Lahore.

Position: Treasurer (BS-20)

Age Limit: 35-50 years
Field: Finance

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Ph.D. in Auditing, Commerce, or Economics
    • From a university or degree-awarding institute recognized by HEC.
    • Experience: Eight (8) years post-qualification experience in BPS-17 or above or equivalent in a relevant field.

OR

  1. MS or M. Phil. in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Auditing, or Economics
    • Equivalent to 18 years of education.
    • From a university or degree-awarding institute recognized by HEC.
    • Experience: Ten (10) years post-qualification experience in BPS-17 or above or equivalent in a relevant field.

OR

  1. MBA (Finance), M.Com, ACCA, ACMA, or M.Sc. (Economics)
    • Equivalent to 16 years of education with at least 2nd Division.
    • From a university or degree-awarding institute recognized by HEC.
    • Experience: Twelve (12) years post-qualification experience in BPS-17 or above or equivalent in a relevant field.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Candidates must carefully read and follow all terms and instructions mentioned in the advertisement when submitting their online application.

  6. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
  7. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the test/interview.
  8. Candidates already employed must apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current department.
  9. The University reserves the right to withhold the appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.
  10. Candidates must deposit a non-refundable fee of Rs. 6000 in any branch of HBL or UBL using the prescribed challan form generated online. The original receipt must be attached to the hard copy of the application.

  • Closing Date: 15.11.2024 (Online portal closes at 4:50 PM)
  • Submission of Hard Copies: Hard copies of the online application form, complete in all respects, should be sent to the Registrar’s office (Human Resource Branch, Admin Block, Room No.1, University of the Punjab, Quaid-e-Azam Campus, Lahore) via registered post, within six (6) days of the closing date. No hand-delivered applications will be accepted.
