Job Descriptions and Requirements

1. Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Specialist

  • Responsibilities:

    • Organize and coordinate activities related to the development of ITS components for Peshawar's BRT System.

    • Monitor and ensure the ongoing functionality of all ITS components of BRT operations.

  • Qualification:

    • Minimum 16 years of education in Information Systems, ITS Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or related fields.

    • A Master's degree in the above fields will be considered an advantage.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, including 2 years in ITS design and maintenance.

  • Age Requirement: Up to 50 years on the closing date of applications.

2. Transport Planning & Operations Specialist

  • Responsibilities:

    • Prepare service plans and optimize route structures in accordance with project conditions and passenger demand.

  • Qualification:

    • Minimum 16 years of education in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning & Engineering, Transportation Economics, or related fields.

    • A Master’s degree in the above fields will be considered an advantage.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in transport planning and operations.

  • Age Requirement: Up to 50 years.

3. Transport Planning & Data Analyst

  • Responsibilities:

    • Analyze data for efficient service network planning and operational improvements.

    • Develop data-driven insights and travel pattern analyses.

  • Qualification:

    • Minimum 16 years of education in Transportation Engineering, Planning, or Economics.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience.

    • Candidates with a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience are also eligible.

  • Age Requirement: Up to 35 years.

4. Assistant Manager Mechanical

  • Responsibilities:

    • Manage daily maintenance of buses, generators, pumps, and other machinery.

    • Ensure safety and sustainable operations.

  • Qualification:

    • Minimum 16 years of education in Mechanical Engineering.

    • A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, with 3 years in operations and maintenance.

  • Age Requirement: Up to 35 years.

5. Assistant Manager BRT Control Center

  • Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the daily management and operations of the Control Center.

    • Ensure security and surveillance monitoring of BRT stations and facilities.

  • Qualification:

    • Minimum 16 years of education in Transport Planning, Electronics, Telecom, Electrical Engineering, or Management.

    • A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, including 3 years in Automated Fare Collection and Bus Scheduling Systems.

  • Age Requirement: Up to 55 years.

6. Budget and Accounts Officer

  • Responsibilities:

    • Handle budgeting and accounting functions.

    • Maintain transparent financial records.

  • Qualification:

    • Minimum 16 years of education in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, ACCA, or CA Inter.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management in government/public/private sectors.

  • Age Requirement: Up to 35 years.

7. IT Support Officer

  • Responsibilities:

    • Provide IT support services and ensure network security.

  • Qualification:

    • Minimum 16 years of education in IT or Computer Science.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience.

    • At least 2 years in a similar role will be an advantage.

  • Age Requirement: Up to 35 years.

8. Facilities Officer

  • Responsibilities:

    • Manage facilities at stations, corridors, and depots.

  • Qualification:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience, including 1 year in electrical maintenance.

  • Age Requirement: Below 35 years.

9. Procurement Executive

  • Responsibilities:

    • Assist in procurement and tendering processes.

  • Qualification:

    • Minimum 16 years of education in Business Administration, Economics, or a relevant field.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification general experience.

    • Preference for experience in procurement, project administration, or supply chain management.

  • Age Requirement: Below 30 years.

10. Operations Supervisor

  • Responsibilities:

    • Assist in monitoring BRT operations, bus headways, and contract violations.

  • Qualification:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Transport Planning, or Urban Infrastructure Engineering.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.

    • Experience in monitoring and reporting will be an advantage.

  • Age Requirement: Below 30 years.
