Apprenticeship Training Program 2024

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC), a premier public sector utility operating in the provinces of Sindh and Balochistan, is inviting applications for its Apprenticeship Training Program. This program offers training opportunities in various trades, aiming to develop skilled professionals to meet industry demands.

Available Trades:

  1. Instrument Mechanic
  2. Radio Mechanic / Telecom
  3. Electrician General
  4. Mechanical (Gas Fitters)
  5. HVAC Technician
  6. SMAW/Steel Welding
  7. Welding
  8. Corrosion Control Technicians
  9. Civil
  10. Quality Inspector
  11. Computer Operator

Training Details:

  • Duration: 02 years
  • Minimum Qualification: Matriculation
  • Age Limit: Maximum 25 years

Application Procedure:

Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply by sending their applications through courier to the address provided below. The application must include the following documents:

  • Application form
  • 04 recent passport-sized photographs
  • Copy of Matriculation certificate
    (Note: Candidates awaiting their Karachi Board matric results, expected on September 27, 2024, may apply with a hope certificate.)
  • Copy of CNIC or Form-B (as applicable)

Selection Process:

  • After an initial screening process, shortlisted candidates will be invited for a test and interview.
  • Selection will be based on performance in the test/interview.
  • Upon completion of the apprenticeship, the company may consider offering permanent employment based on operational requirements, the availability of vacant positions, and meeting the company's criteria. However, SSGC is not obligated to offer employment to apprentices upon completion of their training.
