The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) is established as an autonomous body under the Chartered
Accountants (CA) Ordinance 1961. ICAP strives to promote professional excellence and safeguard the public interest. Moving ahead in this direction, ICAP is seeking to induct bright and energetic individuals for the following positions;
Key Responsibilities: The position will be responsible to conduct the Quality Control Review (OCR) in accordance with set policies and procedures with the objective to ensure that firms carry out audit in accordance with the Professional Standards adopted by the Institute. Prepare draft reports of OCR for inviting comments from firms on the OCR observations. Attend meetings of the Quality Assurance Board (GAB) and prepare relevant working papers. Conduct review of financial statements for ensuring disclosure requirements of applicable laws / standards.
Education, Experience & Skills: The candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant having minimum 2 year's post-qualification experience. Candidates should have practical knowledge of implementing International Standards on Auditing, International Financial Reporting Standards, corporate and other laws and should possess good report writing skills.
Key Responsibilities: This position is responsible to perform analysis of complaints registered against members/students in light of applicable laws, prepare analysis reports, and prepare agenda, working papers for the meetings and minutes of the proceedings of Investigation Committee. Provide support in implementation of decisions taken by the Committee regarding cases of professional misconduct, to gather facts, information and present the cases of professional misconduct to the Investigation Committee.
Education, Experience it Skills: The candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) minimum 2 year's post-qualification experience. Candidates having an additional degree in Law from HEC recognized University/ Institute will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities: This position is responsible to provide support in all operational and employee relation activities, which includes maintaining and updating attendance, keeping track of staff probation Et confirmations, contract renewals, retirements and provide assistance in performance appraisals process.
Education, Experience it Skills: The ideal candidate should be MBA (majors in HR) from a reputed HEC recognized
University with 3 to 4 years’ experience. The candidate should have excellent communication and people management skills. Proficiency in MS Office is mandatory.
