The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) is established as an autonomous body under Chartered Accountants Ordinance, 1961 (the Ordinance). ICAP is looking to induct bright and energetic individuals for the following positions:
Key Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible to supervise and perfomi the Quality Control Review (QCR) in accordance with set policies Et procedures and the QCR Framework, 2019. Oversee the preparation and review of draft reports of OCR for inviting comments from firms on the OCR observations. Attend meetings of the Quality Assurance Board (GAB) and discuss the observations with the GAB for its approval. Finalize reports for issuance to firms after GAB approval. Education, Experience Et Skills: Qualified Chartered Accountant having minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience. He/she should have exposure of working in audit and assurance function of firm(s) and should possess practical knowledge of implementation of International Standards on Auditing, International Financial Reporting Standards, corporate and other laws along with strong communication and report writing skills.
Key Responsibilities: The candidate will be involved in the conduct of QCR in accordance with set policies and procedures and the OCR Framework, 2019. Prepare reports of QCR for inviting comments from firms on the OCR observations. Conduct review of financial statements for ensuring disclosure requirements as per applicable laws / standards. Education, Experience Et Skills: Qualified Chartered Accountant having atleast 2 years' post-qualification experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have practical knowledge of implementation of International Standards on Auditing, International Financial Reporting Standards, corporate and other laws and should possess good report writing skills.
Key Responsibilities: The position will be responsible for assisting the Quality Control Reviewer in conducting QCRs of chartered accountant firms in accordance with the set policies and procedures and provisions of the OCR Framework. Education, Experience Et Skills: Qualified Chartered Accountant having training completed from an audit firm and having knowledge of International Standards on Auditing, International Financial Reporting Standards, corporate and other laws.
