The Power Planning & Monitoring Company (PPMC) is responsible for:

  • Providing policy and technical support to the Ministry of Energy (Power Division).
  • Integrated planning for the Power Sector of Pakistan.
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans for the power sector.
  • Administering, monitoring, and evaluating the performance of Power Sector Entities under approved policies/plans.

Position Announcement

Position Title: Team Lead (Digital Transformation)


Job Overview

The selected candidate will:

  1. Provide strategic direction and leadership to the IT team.
  2. Align technology initiatives with organizational goals through business insights and transformation expertise.
  3. Lead the lifecycle of IT solutions, emphasizing user-centric design and emerging market trends.
  4. Drive the organization’s business automation and digital transformation strategies to enhance:
    • Operational efficiency.
    • Process optimization.
    • Customer engagement.
  5. Plan, customize, and integrate ERP systems with core business processes.
  6. Ensure the stability, scalability, and reliability of the organization's IT infrastructure.
  7. Develop and implement cybersecurity frameworks.
  8. Establish IT policies and governance frameworks for business transformation.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technology needs.
  10. Manage the IT budget effectively to meet organizational priorities.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s (16 years education) or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institute/university.
  • Relevant training/certifications will be considered an advantage.

Experience & Skills:

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a reputable national/multinational organization.
  • Proven expertise in:
    • Leading IT initiatives focusing on business automation and process optimization.
    • Digital inclusion strategies, ERP implementation, and product development.
    • Managing IT teams and delivering large-scale IT projects.

Age Requirement:

  • Up to 45 years as of the closing date.
  • No age relaxation will be provided.

  • Sound judgment based on accurate and timely analysis.
