The Punjab Daanish Schools and Centres of Excellence Authority, Government of the Punjab, is inviting applications from highly dynamic and committed professionals in the Academic Staff category for various teaching positions at Daanish Schools (Boys & Girls) in Jand, Attock.

Contract Terms:

  • All appointments will be on a contract basis.
  • The salary will be as per the approved DS Scale.

Essential Pre-requisites:

  • Qualification: Master's Degree or equivalent.
  • Preferred Experience & Credentials:
    • Teaching experience in a well-reputed registered educational institution.
    • Strong English communication skills and socio-affective skills.

Process/Conditions:

  • Candidates should have a well-groomed personality and a progressive disposition.
  • The required qualifications and experience for each subject are as follows:

  1. English:

    • 16 years of education (Master's degree/BS/BA (Hons)) in English Language/Literature/TEFL/TEIL/TESOL with at least a 2nd division or CGPA of 2.50/4.0 or 3.50/5.0.
    • Additional qualifications such as M.Phil., M.Ed., B.Ed., or PhD will be preferred.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  2. Urdu:

    • 16 years of education (Master's degree/BS/BA (Hons)) in Urdu with at least a 2nd division or CGPA of 2.50/4.0 or 3.50/5.0.
    • M.Ed./B.Ed. qualifications are advantageous.
    • Sound knowledge of Urdu grammar and composition.

  3. Islamic Studies:

    • 16 years of education (Master's degree/BS/BA (Hons)) in Islamic Studies/Shahadat ul Alamia from Wafaq Ul Madaris/Tanzeem Ul Madaris with a 2nd division or CGPA of 2.50/4.0 or 3.50/5.0.
    • Additional qualifications such as M.Phil., M.Ed., B.Ed., or PhD will be preferred.

  4. Physics, Mathematics, General Science:

    • 16 years of education (Master's degree/BS/BA (Hons)) in the relevant subject (Physics, Mathematics, or Biology/Chemistry/Physics for General Science) with at least a 2nd division or CGPA of 2.50/4.0 or 3.50/5.0.
    • Additional qualifications such as M.Phil., M.Ed., B.Ed., or PhD will be preferred.

Selection Process:

  • Shortlisting: Based on academic qualifications, additional qualifications, and teaching experience.

  • Demonstration & Interview: Top candidates from the written test will be invited for a demonstration and interview.
  • No TA/DA will be admissible.

Other Information:

  • Transfer/Posting: Selected candidates can be transferred to any other Centre of Excellence School in Punjab.
  • Medical & Police Clearance: Selected candidates must submit medical and police clearance certificates.
