Sukkur Electric Power Company Limited (SEPCO) provides electricity to over 0.8 million consumers across 10 districts in Northern Sindh. SEPCO is seeking candidates for various C-Level Positions.

Job Responsibilities, Skills, and Competencies:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead departments to align objectives with organizational goals, driving innovation and policy implementation.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Build strong relationships with stakeholders and deliver clear, actionable reports and communications.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, making sound decisions under pressure.
  • Team Management: Foster a high-performance culture by leading, mentoring, and managing teams effectively.
  • Industry Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in relevant fields and adapt to industry trends and challenges.

Position Requirements:

1. Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

  • Qualification: CA/CPA/ACMA/ACCA/MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
  • Experience: At least 5 years in auditing, risk management, and internal control procedures.
  • Knowledge: In governance, risk management, and SOEs/public sector projects.

2. Chief Legal Officer (CLO)

  • Qualification: Master's in Law or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Experience: At least 15 years of relevant experience as a licensed advocate, especially in corporate law, commercial transactions, and regulatory affairs, preferably in the energy/power sector.

3. Chief Information Technology Officer (CIO)

  • Qualification: Master's in Information Technology/Computer Science/Software Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: At least 15 years of experience in information systems and software technologies, with strong leadership skills and experience in change management.

4. General Management Roles (Engineering, Finance, Law)

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Law, or Management Sciences (Master’s in Business Administration preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in power or related sectors, with expertise in technical, financial, and regulatory matters.

Age, Tenure, and Remuneration:

  • Age Limit: Maximum age of 55 years (on the closing date of the advertisement).
  • Appointment: Contract-based for 2 years, extendable based on performance.
  • Compensation: Market-based competitive salary and benefits in line with SEPCO’s regulations.

Other Terms & Conditions:

  • Fit and Proper Criteria: Candidates must comply with the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Act 2023 and related policies.
  • Eligibility: Candidates should not have been dismissed from any organization due to moral or financial misconduct.
  • Required Documents:
    • Scanned copies of degrees, HEC verification, and experience certificates.
    • CV with 2 recent passport-sized photos.
    • Copy of CNIC and a declaration on non-judicial stamp paper regarding the eligibility for the position.
