SITUATION VACANT
Applications are invited by Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Lahore for the appointment/engagement of retired supervisory staff of the Signal Department on a contract basis for a period of one year. Suitable candidates having retired on superannuation, i.e., at 60 years, are encouraged to apply for the posts mentioned below, subject to physical fitness.

Categories and Vacancies
1. Sub Engineer Signal (BS-11)
Number of Vacancies: 15
Eligibility: Retired Sub Engineer/Signal (BS-11) or Signal Inspector (BS-16)
Age Limit: Maximum age limit shall be 62 years.
Terms and Conditions for Contract Appointment
Only candidates who have worked in the above category will be eligible for contract appointment.
The selected candidates will draw their salary according to their last pay drawn along with usual allowances, admissible under the contract appointment rules. However, they will not be entitled to any gratuity or pension benefits.
The contract period of one year may be extended further for one year if required by Pakistan Railways.
The competent authority reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.
The number of posts can be changed without assigning any reason.
Selected candidates must pass a medical fitness examination at Pakistan Railways Hospital.
Those who retired compulsorily, were removed, dismissed, or retired on medical grounds are not eligible for appointment.
Call letters will only be issued to candidates eligible for contract appointments.
No TA/DA will be paid to candidates called for interviews and medical examinations.
Selected persons may be posted anywhere in the entire Railway System.

Railway retired Identity Card/Experience Certificate
Photocopy of PPO
Photocopy of LPC
Service Certificate
Three (03) fresh passport size photographs
Three (03) postal envelopes (with RAD card) and complete address with cell number written thereon
Experience certificate from a renowned organization
