JOB OPPORTUNITIES

The Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Government of the Punjab, invites applications from eligible candidates for the following positions on a contract basis for three years, likely to be regularized under the Recruitment Policy 2022.

1. Hardware Technician (BS-14)

  • Number of Posts: 2

  • Age Limit: 22 to 40 years

  • Qualifications:

    • MIT (2 years) or B.Sc. in Computer Science from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), OR

    • Higher Secondary School Certificate (2nd Division) from a recognized board with:

      • A 6-month computer diploma or certificate from a recognized institute, and

      • Two years of experience as a Hardware Technician in the public or private sector.

2. Junior Computer Operator (BS-12)

  • Number of Posts: 4

  • Age Limit: 22 to 35 years

  • Qualifications:

    • ICS or Higher Secondary School Certificate (2nd Division) from a recognized board

    • A 3-month computer diploma or certificate from a recognized institute

    • Typing speed of 40 words per minute in English on a computer

  • Note:
    Candidates holding ICS certificates are exempted from the 3-month computer diploma requirement.

3. Naib Qasid

  • Number of Posts: 1

  • Age Limit: 22 to 35 years

  • Qualifications:

    • Literate

Terms and Conditions

  • Appointments are on a contract basis for three years and may be regularized as per Government of Punjab policy.

  • Transgender persons are encouraged to apply.

  • Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of Punjab’s Notification No. SOR-III(S&GAD)1-25/94(P), dated 29-11-2012 and the Punjab Delegation of Powers (Relaxation of Age) Rules, 1951.

  • Only Punjab domiciled candidates are eligible.

  • Posts are post-specific and non-transferable.

  • No TA/DA will be paid for test/interview.

  • Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous body employees must apply through proper channels.

  • Age will be calculated as per the last date of application submission.

  • Submission of fake documents or concealment of facts will lead to disqualification.

  • Only HEC-recognized degrees or equivalent foreign degrees (with HEC equivalence) will be accepted.

  • Applications must include:

    • Detailed C.V.

    • Attested copies of degrees, certificates, experience letters

    • Copy of CNIC and domicile

    • Recent passport-size photograph
