SITUATION VACANT

The Director General of Public Relations, Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir, invites applications for the following posts under the development schemes "Social & Digital Media Monitoring, Analysis and Response Management" and "Strengthening of Information Department of AJ&K Phase-IV (Re-revised)." Applications are invited on an open merit basis from eligible candidates with the following academic qualifications and experience for appointment on a contract basis with a lump sum salary package.

Social & Digital Media Monitoring, Analysis and Response Management

02 Research Analyst 01 Sixteen-year degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, International Relations, or Literature from a recognized university (2nd division) with at least three years of relevant experience in a reputed organization.
03 Studio Engineer 01 Sixteen-year degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or a 3-year DAE in Electronics Technology (or equivalent qualification) from a recognized university with at least three years of relevant experience.
04 Script/Content Writer 02 Sixteen-year degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, International Relations, or Literature from a recognized university (2nd division) with at least three years of relevant experience in a reputed organization.
05 Media Monitoring Officer/Cyber Specialist 02 Sixteen-year degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or Artificial Intelligence from a recognized university (2nd division) with at least three years of relevant experience.
06 NLE/Video Grapher/Video Editor 02 Intermediate (2nd division) with at least five years of experience in video editing, camera work, live coverage, and drone operation. Must have expertise in Edius, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
07 Graphics Designer 02 Bachelor's in Fine Arts and Graphic Designing (2nd division) or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a one-year diploma in Graphic Designing and at least five years of experience in Graphics Designing. Must be proficient in Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva, with expertise in 3D designing.
08 Vision Mixer 01 Fourteen-year degree in any discipline (2nd division) with at least five years of experience in vision mixing in an electronic media organization and live coverage management for social/digital media platforms.
09 Drone Operator/Cameraman 02 Fourteen-year degree in any discipline (2nd division) with a diploma in Videography and Drone Operations from a recognized institute and five years of experience in the relevant field.
10 Office Boy 02 Literate with good health. Candidates with relevant experience will be preferred.

Strengthening of Information Department of AJ&K Phase-IV (Re-revised)

Terms & Conditions:

  1. Application Submission:

    • Hard copies of the applications must include educational certificates, experience certificates, domicile, CNIC, and two recent passport-sized photographs.

    • Applications must reach the address below within 15 days of the first publication in newspapers.

  2. Contract-Based Appointment:

    • The appointment is strictly contractual and valid for the duration of the development scheme.

    • The appointment shall not confer any right to regularization.

  3. Selection Process:

    • The Appointing Authority will select candidates based on recommendations from the Selection Board/Committee.

    • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.

    • No TA/DA will be provided for the test/interview.

  4. Eligibility Criteria:

    • The maximum age limit will be as prescribed by the government and calculated as per the closing date of application submission.

    • Regular Civil/Government Servants with requisite qualifications and experience may apply through the proper channel.

    • In case no suitable professional/technical candidate is available from AJ&K, the State Subject condition shall be deemed abolished.

  5. Application Deadline:
