Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) Career Opportunities

The Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) is offering career opportunities for enthusiastic and skilled candidates for the following position:

Position: Sindh Sales Tax Officer (SRB Scale 16)

  • Number of Positions: 40

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) from an HEC-recognized institution in:
    • Business/Public Administration
    • Accounting
    • Economics
    • Commerce
    • Law
      Other disciplines will not be accepted.
    • Academic Standards:
      • Minimum 1st Division (60%) or a CGPA of 2.5 or above.
      • Percentage criteria applies only if CGPA is unavailable on the transcript.
  • Skills:
    • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in English, Urdu, and/or Sindhi
  • Domicile: Must hold domicile and a Permanent Residence Certificate (Form D) issued by the Sindh province.
  • Age Limit: Between 21 and 30 years as of October 31, 2024 (age relaxation per Government of Sindh policies).

Terms of Employment:

  • Training and Evaluation: Candidates will undergo a mandatory training program, including a final examination and a probation period.
  • Employment Conditions: Governed by SRB regulations; performance-based retention.

Additional Prerequisites:

  • Foreign Qualifications: Must be validated by HEC’s Equivalence Certificate.
  • Falsification: Providing false information will lead to disqualification and recovery of costs by SRB.
  • Application Conditions: SRB reserves the right to alter the hiring process and adjust the number of vacancies.

  • Application Fee: Rs. 1500/- (non-refundable) payable at any Meezan Bank branch.
  • Government Employees: Must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) during the interview.
  • Bond Requirement: Successful candidates will sign a service bond with SRB.
