EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
The Sindh Irrigation & Drainage Authority (SIDA) is a Body Corporate established on August 11,1997. SIDA Act was subsequently replaced with Sindh Water Management Ordinance of 2002. The Authority has been principally established to operate, rehabilitate and maintain the Irrigation system, carry out rever flood protection in the province of Sindh and advise the Government on any strategic or tactical matter relating to water management system. The registered office of the Authority is situated at Left Bank Barrage Colony Hyderabad.
The services of eligible, motivated and dynamic professional candidates are required for staff of SIDA Secretariat Hyderabad to be appointed from market on temporary basis that fulfil the prescribed requirements/eligibility as under:

Required Qualifications and Experience
Masters Degree in (Business or Social Science/Engineering/Agriculture Engineering) At least 10 years' experience in relevant field and have track record in large scale
General Manager (Transition)
organizational change programs and restructuring in Public or Private Sector. knowledge on participatory irrigation management tools and techniques.
Should have Should have clear concepts or carrying out social mobilization, public awareness and communication skills as well as monitoring and evaluation of projects, especially the performance of former organization.
One (01) Position
Knowledge of laws, rules and regulations pertaining to the operation of institution involved in the reform of Irrigation and Drainage Sector.

The above position will be filled initially for 2 years and may be extended further on satisfactory performance.
The salary-package for post will be competitive & negotiable.
The age limit is upto 55 years for the above position at the closing date.
In case of more appropriate/suitable candidate the maximum age limit can be relaxed upto 2 years upon the recommendation of Selection Committee constituted for the purpose.
Should be Computer literate and well versed with advance computer applications.
Proficiency in English and good communication skills and report writing is essential.
Having knowledge of procurement procedure of government as well as donor funded projects and experience of working with Donor funded projects.
At least Second Division Degree in all education careers.
Other terms and conditions will be mentioned in the offer letter and Service Contracts.
No TA/DA will be given for test/interview or joining.
Candidates already working in Government departments or Project employees should send their CVs through proper channel with NOC.
