CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AT HYDROPOWER PLANT
A Hydropower sector company is looking to hire experienced professionals for the Operation department at the Patrind Hydropower Plant in Muzaffarabad.

Position: Shift Control Engineer (Powerhouse site)
Number of Positions: 01
Minimum Age Limit: 25 years
Minimum Qualification: B.S in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

Job Description:

Monitoring and operation of the plant from the SCADA system (units and all its auxiliaries) within technical limits and according to SOPs and PPA.
Preparation of DAC, and revised DAC according to varying inflow each hour.
Updating data on various online portals (SDXP/NTDC management system/NEPRA site).
Preparation of Initial Incident Reports in case of any fault.
Correspondence with system operators, i.e., NPCC/RCC, for handling notifications such as DAC, dispatch instructions, etc.
Instructing weir site operator to operate spillway gates when required.
Issuing SP tags and trouble reports to the maintenance team and maintaining records.
Experience:

At least six (06) years of professional hands-on experience in hydropower projects.
Instruction & General Conditions:

Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
Proficiency in technical report writing and Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheet to organize and manipulate data is required.
