Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Institute of Trauma (SMBBIT), Karachi, under the Trauma and Surgical Emergency Center of Chandka Medical College and Hospital, is inviting applications from eligible and qualified candidates for various contractual positions.

Available Positions & Requirements:

  1. Consultant

    • Qualification: FCPS (Relevant Field)
    • Must have valid PMDC registration
    • Preference for candidates with prior experience in a recognized hospital

  2. Resident Medical Officer (RMO)

    • Qualification: MBBS
    • FCPS/MCPS training in relevant field preferred
    • Valid PMDC registration required
    • Experience in a recognized hospital preferred
    • Age limit: 40 years

  3. Medical Officer (Anesthesia, Radiology, ICU, Pulmonology, etc.)

    • Qualification: MBBS
    • Valid PMDC registration required
    • At least 2 years of experience in a relevant specialty
    • Age limit: 45 years

  4. Pharmacist

    • Qualification: B.Pharm/D.Pharm
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a recognized hospital
    • Valid Pharmacy Council registration required
    • Age limit: 35 years

  5. Lab Technician

    • Qualification: Diploma in Medical Technology
    • Minimum 1 year of relevant hospital experience
    • Age limit: 35 years

  6. Respiratory Therapist

    • Qualification: Bachelor's in Respiratory Therapy
    • Experience in a recognized hospital preferred
    • Age limit: 35 years

  7. Registered Nurse (ICU, General Nursing, Anesthesia Technician)

    • Qualification: Diploma in Nursing
    • Valid PNC registration required
    • Preference for candidates with ICU experience
    • Age limit: 35 years

  8. Physiotherapist

    • Qualification: BSPT/DPT
    • Minimum 1 year of house job experience in a recognized hospital
    • Age limit: 35 years
