Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, invites applications on the prescribed form from qualified and eligible candidates for the following positions:
1. Registrar
- Grade: BPS-20 (Tenure post for three years)
- Qualifications: Postgraduate, preferably 1st class or equivalent degree (16 years of education) from a recognized university. Minimum 17 years of administrative experience in a role equivalent to BPS-17 or above in a university, board, government department, or autonomous organization.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a full-time officer of the university.
- Oversee and be well-versed with university and government statutes and regulations.
- Act as the custodian of the university’s seal, and manage academic and administrative records.
- Conduct elections for statutory bodies and fulfill other assigned duties.
- Facilitate statutory body meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes.
- Coordinate with university management to address law and administrative matters.
- Address legal issues and represent the university in court, as needed.
- Tenure of appointment: 3 years.
2. Controller of Examinations
- Grade: BPS-20
- Qualifications: Postgraduate, preferably 1st class or equivalent degree (16 years of education) from a recognized university. At least 17 years of teaching, administrative, or examination experience in a BPS-17 or higher role within a university, board, government department, or autonomous organization.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a full-time officer of the university.
- Handle all examination-related processes.
- Utilize IT and modern automation tools for examination record management.
- Ensure timely announcement of examination results.
- Coordinate with university administration for conducting convocations.
3. Librarian
- Grade: BPS-19
- Qualifications: Postgraduate degree in Library Science, preferably 1st class or equivalent, from a recognized university. Minimum 13 years of experience in library administration in a BPS-17 or higher role within a reputable library, university, or college.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Proficient in modern digital library management systems (e.g., KOHA).
- Conduct data analysis to inform library management decisions.
- Maintain and organize library resources for easy accessibility.
- Implement community outreach programs to promote library awareness.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive library environment.

- Documentation: Submit the completed application form, a detailed resume, two recent passport-sized photos, and attested copies of all educational and experience certificates.
- Application Fee: Non-refundable fee of PKR 3000/- payable by pay order/demand draft in favor of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, or via challan to Account No. 12080001440701, HBL SALU, Khairpur.
