Position Details

Job Title:
Senior Relationship Manager – GoP & Specialized Agencies Division (GOPSA)
Job Grade: OG-1 / AVP

Reporting Line:
Unit Head – GOPSA (North)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized local or international institution accredited by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

  • Candidates holding a Master’s degree and/or relevant professional certifications will be preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking sector.

  • At least 3 years of experience in relationship management within Corporate and/or Commercial Banking, Risk Management, or Investment Banking.

  • Strong analytical, credit evaluation, and structuring skills.


Required Skills and Expertise

  • In-depth knowledge of corporate and investment banking products and services.

  • Excellent relationship management skills and experience in credit-related activities.

  • Understanding of the local and regional corporate client landscape and regulatory environment.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client-handling capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Unit Head (GOPSA North) in executing the business strategy and achieving set business targets.

  • Originate and manage corporate banking relationships, ensuring portfolio growth and asset quality maintenance.

  • Analyze customer needs, explore cross-sell opportunities, and develop strategies to enhance the bank’s wallet share.

  • Monitor portfolio performance, account profitability, and manage client expectations.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as product partners, risk teams, and support functions to deliver seamless client service.

  • Meet assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including asset book growth, revenue generation, and product cross-sell targets (FX, Trade Finance, etc.).

  • Prepare high-quality credit proposals and ensure adherence to internal policies and SBP prudential regulations.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, including business call reports, facility letters, and sanction advices.

  • Ensure implementation of internal and external audit recommendations and compliance with control standards.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing efficiency and productivity.

  • Perform any other task or assignment delegated by supervisors.


Employment Terms

  • Type: Contractual (initially for 3 years, renewable at management’s discretion)
