The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the apex regulator of capital markets and the corporate sector of Pakistan, invites applications from qualified, result-oriented, energetic, and enthusiastic professionals with impeccable integrity and exceptional analytical skills for the following Islamabad-based contractual position in its Mergers & Restructuring Department:


Position Title:

Director – Mergers & Restructuring Department
No. of Positions: 01
Location: Islamabad
Quota: Open Merit


Qualification Requirements:

Candidates must possess one of the following from an HEC-recognized reputable University/Institute:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Accounting, Finance, or Law
    OR

  • Qualified CA, CMA, or ACCA


Post-Qualification Experience:

  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant post-qualification experience is required.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in managing financial or legal transactions related to Mergers and Restructuring.

  • For Chartered Accountants, the CA Articleship will be considered part of the required experience.


Age Limit:

  • Maximum age: 50 years (as of the closing date for application submission)


Contract Duration:

  • Three (03) years, extendable based on need and performance.


Nature of Employment:

  • The Commission may consider regularizing the position after three years, subject to meeting the prescribed criteria.
