JOB OPPORTUNITY
Wapda Employees Cooperative Housing Society (WECHS) Ltd, Lahore is seeking the services of a qualified WAPDA Engineer (serving or retired) for the position of Secretary on a contract basis. The candidate must be a Grade BPS 20 or above WAPDA Engineer (serving or retired)
Position: Secretary (Contract Basis)
Qualification/Eligibility: BPS 20 & above (Serving or Retired WAPDA Engineer)
Contract Duration: Initially one year, extendable based on performance
Deadline for Submission of Applications: 15.06.2024
The position requires the following experiences and expertise:
O Experience in observing pre-contract award formalities for the execution of works.
O Drafting estimates for the procurement of works, goods, and services.
O Monitoring that contracts are awarded and implemented following PPRA Rules to ensure fairness and transparency.
O Ensuring the quality of works as per plans/drawings, specifications, methodologies, procedures, and engineering standards.
O Experience in dealing with administration, accounts, and budgetary matters.
O Possess a good reputation and integrity.
O Experience in public dealing.
O Ability to make prompt decisions.
O Experience in coordinating with other government departments and agnecies to resolve issues/disputes of the Society.
