Location: All over Pakistan
Employer: Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization (PEDO), Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan
Contract Duration: 3 years, renewable/extendable subject to satisfactory performance or at the discretion of the Executive Committee.
Member of a recognized body of professional accountants or corporate/chartered secretaries.
Alternatively, a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, Law, or equivalent from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized institution.
The applicant must meet the Fit and Proper criteria under the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act 2023.
Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, or company secretarial practices (e.g., Company Secretary, Secretary Board) in government, autonomous/semi-autonomous bodies, or private sector (national or international).
Ensure effective organization and proper minute-taking of Executive Committee meetings.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, rules, and bylaws during Executive Committee meetings.
Oversee adherence to all required laws, rules, and regulations.
Undertake other responsibilities as outlined in the approved Job Descriptions (JDs).
Excellent written and oral English communication skills, including proficiency in drafting corporate documentation.
Strong management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of public sector autonomous, semi-autonomous, and corporate governance rules (e.g., Public Sector Corporate Governance Rules 2013).
Proficiency in office software like MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
MP Scale Salary (revised by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) plus allowances and perks decided by the Executive Committee.
Maximum age of 50 years.
Open to candidates from all over Pakistan.

Shortlisting & Interviews:
Only eligible shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Shortlisting will be based on criteria approved by the PEDO Executive Committee.
