Job Opportunity: Research Analyst (PPS-08)

Project: Establishment of Federal SDGs Support Unit
Employment Type: Contract basis (under PSDP-funded project)

Job Description:

The Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives is seeking qualified and motivated individuals for the position of Research Analyst. The selected candidates will play a critical role in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by providing high-level research and data analysis services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research on a variety of development topics.

  • Perform data analysis using statistical software and tools.

  • Interpret research findings to inform project strategies and policy recommendations.

  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for different stakeholders.

  • Support the implementation and monitoring of SDG-related initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong background in analytical research and data interpretation.

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software (such as SPSS, STATA, R, or equivalent).

  • Ability to synthesize large volumes of information into clear and actionable insights.

  • Good understanding of sustainable development principles and public policy.
