Position/Job Title:
Relationship Manager - Commercial & SME (AVP)

Reporting to:
Regional Manager Commercial & SME


Basic Eligibility Criteria:

Educational/Professional Qualification:

  • Minimum: Graduation or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or international institution.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of banking experience, with at least 2 years in Commercial and/or SME lending.
  • Preferred: Experience in Trade-related business.

Skills/Expertise/Knowledge Required:

  • Strong sales management and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth geographical knowledge of the posting location.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Sound knowledge of banking products and SBP Prudential Regulations.
  • Expertise in regulatory requirements related to Commercial & SME lending.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve business growth and profitability targets in lending and trade by marketing new business relationships.
  • Develop and maintain the existing portfolio in line with the overall client relationship strategy.
  • Prepare credit proposals with detailed financial analysis, industry overview, financial spreads, and projections, ensuring risk parameters are addressed.
  • Recommend credit exposure approvals for existing and new customers.
  • Conduct frequent visits and follow-ups with customers and branches to ensure timely recovery of markup/principal.
  • Collaborate with CAD and legal counsel to prepare security documents and complete disbursement formalities.
  • Prepare and manage credit-related statistics and MIS reports for internal and external authorities.
  • Assist the Regional Manager in designing procedures for effective loan processing in the region.
  • Monitor clients for business opportunities while proactively managing potential risks.
  • Provide timely and accurate support for client retention.
  • Identify workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels.
  • Comply with bank policies and regulatory requirements related to CSME financing.
  • Foster a positive and trustworthy relationship with clients and employees.
  • Prepare Statements of Classified Advances (SCA) in coordination with credit staff.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for loan collection and recovery when needed.
  • Perform any additional assignments as directed by supervisors.

  • Gwadar, Karachi, Mansehra, Mianwali, Sargodha, Sialkot, Sibbi, Vehari

Assessment:

Employment Type:

  • Contractual basis for three years, extendable at the discretion of management.

  • Selected candidates will receive a compensation package in line with the Bank’s policies.
