SITUATION VACANT

The Vice Chancellor, Faisalabad Medical University (FMU), Faisalabad, invites applications for the following posts on a purely contract basis for three years. The required qualifications and experience are detailed below:

1. Registrar

No. of Posts: 1
BPS: 20
Age Limit: 30 to 50 years
Eligibility Criteria:

  • Option 1:

    • Qualification: PLD, FCPS, MS, MDS, or MD in any discipline after MBBS/BDS from an HEC-recognized institute.
    • Experience: 10 years in a medical college, teaching hospital, or university.

  • Option 2:

    • Qualification: M.Phil, MPH, or MBA after MBBS/BDS from an HEC-recognized institute.
    • Experience: 12 years in a medical college, teaching hospital, or university.

  • Option 3:

    • Qualification: MBBS/BDS from an HEC-recognized institute.
    • Experience: 15 years in a medical college, teaching hospital, or university.

  • Option 4:

    • Qualification: Ph.D. or M.Phil. after MBBS/BDS or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institute.
    • Experience: 10 years as Registrar (BPS-20) or Additional Registrar (BPS-19) in a public/private sector university.

  • Option 5:

    • Qualification: 18 years of education (second division) from an HEC-recognized institute.
    • Experience: 18 years of post-qualification experience in administration or management (BPS-17 or above) in a university, government department, or autonomous body.

2. Treasurer

Age Limit: 30 to 50 years
Eligibility Criteria:

  • Option 1:

    • Qualification: FCA or FCMA (second division) or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institute.
    • Experience: 7 years of relevant experience.

  • Option 2:

    • Qualification: ACCA or CA (second division) or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institute.
    • Experience: 8 years of relevant experience.

  • Option 3:

    • Qualification: MBA, M.Com, or MA in Economics (second division) from an HEC-recognized institute.
    • Experience: 12 years of relevant experience.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Appointments will be made under contract policy rules.
  2. Age relaxation is as per Government of Punjab notifications.
  3. Verification of degrees and experience is mandatory, and costs will be borne by the candidate.
  4. Applicants must submit applications on the prescribed proforma available at FMU Website along with:
    • Attested copies of degrees, certificates, CNIC, domicile, and two passport-sized photographs.
    • Bank draft/pay order of PKR 3000/- in favor of Vice Chancellor FMU.
  5. Foreign degree holders must provide an HEC equivalence certificate.
  6. MBBS degree must be registered with PM&DC.
  7. Government employees must apply through proper channels.
  8. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
  9. The university reserves the right to cancel or reduce the number of posts without assigning a reason.
  10. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
  11. No TA/DA will be provided for interviews.
