Details

Position

  • Title: Regional Sales Manager - Sindh (AVP/VP)

  • Reporting to: National Sales Manager

Educational/Professional Qualification

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC.

  • Candidates with a Master's degree from an HEC-recognized university/institution will be preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of banking experience in branch/consumer banking and/or sales management/business development.

  • At least 3 years of experience at the Area/Regional leadership level.

Skills/Expertise/Knowledge Required

  • Strong sales management skills.

  • Geographical knowledge of the posting area (Sindh region).

  • Ability to coach and mentor the team effectively.

  • Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven track record of exceeding targets, strong negotiation, and selling skills.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of banking products (Conventional & Islamic).

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Outline of Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • Achieve regional sales objectives by managing sales teams, including Team Leaders and Relationship Managers.

  • Provide periodic updates on portfolio positioning, performance attribution, and profitability tracking against KPIs.

  • Prepare and implement branch-specific sales action plans and product quality/customer service standards.

  • Monitor and analyze competitor products, sales, and marketing activities.

  • Expand and sustain the customer base by building strong customer relationships and identifying new sales opportunities.

  • Coordinate to establish a one-bank culture across Conventional and Islamic banking platforms.

  • Plan and supervise regional sales activities and conduct product demonstrations for customers.

  • Ensure teams have access to market trends and complete product knowledge.

  • Meet regional financial objectives by budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing variances.

  • Motivate, coach, and support staff to ensure high performance.

  • Ensure compliance with banking laws, regulations, and internal policies.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure adherence to audit requirements.

  • Maintain a Shariah-compliant environment at Islamic Banking Windows (IBWs) within the region.

  • Adhere to defined turnaround times (TAT) for all processes.

  • Follow all SOPs according to the Bank’s policies.

  • Perform any other assignments given by the supervisor(s).

Assessment

  • Only shortlisted candidates who meet the basic eligibility criteria will be invited for panel interviews.

Employment Type

  • Contractual basis for three (3) years, renewable at the management’s discretion.

  • Compensation and benefits as per the Bank’s policy/rules.
