PROJECT BASED VACANCIES for Development Project Applications on prescribed form are invited from nationals of Pakistan, domiciled in the Sindh Province for the ADP Scheme titled "Strengthening / Upgradation of Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Karachi for Project Management Unit on Contract basis.

  1. At least 2nd Class B.E (Civil) from HEC recognized University I Institution with valid PEC registration.
  2. Preference will be given to those having 1st Class Degree.
  3. Additional qualification will be given due weightage.
  1. At least 17 years professional experience of Implementation of large project (Including design) having worked in university / Institute / Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous body / any reputable private organization.
  2. Proven managerial capabilities in Supervision of Construction of Building works, infrastructure and other related works.
  3. Proven Experience of Rules / Regulations Government contracting-procedures for tendering, evaluation execution and procurement etc.
  4. Proven experience of working through the Consultant & contractor supervision and preparation of monthly and quarterly progress report. Candidate having experience with Public Sector Universities will be preferred.
  5. Well-versed in PEC, P P RA, SPPRA. Planning Commission, Finance and Project Management and other Government rules I procedures prescribed for the development projects.
  6. Successful candidates will be responsible for implementation I execution of all components of the development project as per PC-I provision.

2 Project Engineer (Contract) At least 2nd Class BE (Civil) from HEC recognized university,
  1. At least 10 years' experience in design and construction of RCC buildings and structures, road, water supply and sanitary and well versed in both design and construction field of civil / electrical. Mechanical works proficient in preparation of scope and materials, possess excellent communication. presentation and writing skills in project Directorate in BPS-17 and above in university / Institute / Government/ Semi-Government / Autonomous body I any reputable private organization.

3 Assistant Engineer (Contract) At least 2nd Class BE (Civil) from HEC recognized university.
  1. At least 04 years'expenence in Project / Engineering Department in BPS-17 and above in Government / Semi- Government / Autonomous body / any reputable private organization.

4 Accounts Officer (Contract) At least 2nd Class Bachelor's Degree in Business / Public Administration (Finance) I Commerce I Economics.
  1. At least 05 years' relevant experience in BPS-16 and above in University / Institute / from HEC recognized University above in Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous body / any reputable private organization.

5 Computer Operator (Contract)
  1. At least 2nd Class Bachelor's Degree in I.T I Computer from HEC recognized University 1 Institution OR
  2. At least Second Class Bachelor's Degree from HEC recognized University / Institution with PGD / 01-year Diploma in Computer from recognized by the SBTE.
  1. At least 02 years' office work experience related to M.S (Office) with speed 40 wpm in typing in University / Government / Semi-Government / any reputable private organization
OR
  1. At least 04 years office work experience related to M.S (Office) with speed 40 wpm in University / Government / Semi-Government / any reputable private organization.

  1. Three years post Matriculation Diploma in relevant field from a Government Polytechnic Institute.

  2. At least 05 years' experience in Civil Engineering with experience of construction / maintenance in University / Government i Semi-Government any reputable private organization.

  1. Only Sindh Domicile are eligible.
  2. Application form is available on website www.jsmu.edu.pk hard-copy of the application form should be sent along with the two recent photographs. one set of attested photocopies of relevant documents in a sealed envelope with three current referral and brief curriculum vitae.
  3. Every Application must be submitted along with an original pay order of Rs.1500/- (non-refundable) in favour of Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Karachi.
  4. Incomplete application in any manner will be rejected.
  5. All information will be kept confidential.
  6. Please clearly mention the name of post on the right top of the envelope.
  7. Institution reserves the right to reject any or all applications.
  8. Only shortlisted applicants will be called for written test; interview.

  12. The positions are purely temporary for one year, extendable for another one year on performance basis.

  14. Preference will be given to those candidates who have experience in any ADP/PSDP Scheme.
