REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR SELECTION OF PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST/INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT

The Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, represented by the Government of Balochistan, has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project (IFRAP). Part of these funds will be used to hire a motivated, experienced, and energetic individual to work with the Project Management Unit as a Procurement Specialist/Individual Consultant.

Position Details:

  1. Position: Procurement Specialist
    Qualification: Master’s Degree (sixteen years of education) in Engineering, Business, Economics, or Commerce
    Experience:
    • A minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement and contract management after acquiring the stipulated qualification.
    • At least 5 years of this experience should be related to the procurement of Goods, Works, and Consulting Services.

The Government of Balochistan, represented by the Project Director, PIU-IFRAP/BIWRMD, invites eligible individuals to express their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must submit detailed CVs, demonstrating their qualifications to perform the services as per the criteria outlined in the document titled "Terms of Reference & Required Qualifications," available for download on the project website: http://www.ifrappius.org.pk.

The Expression of Interest (EOI) and CVs should be submitted via email to hrblermdp@gmail.com on or before August 15, 2024.

An individual consultant will be selected following the Open Competitive Selection Process as stipulated in the "World Bank: Procurement Regulations for Investment Project Financing Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services" (November 2020). The prospective consultants/experts are required to submit their Curriculum Vitae (CV) that best describes their qualifications and competence to undertake the assignment.
