Position Overview

Ghulam Ishaq Khan (GIK) Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology invites applications for the position of Pro-Rector (Administration). The Institute has a fully residential campus with approximately 3,000 students and 150 faculty members. The Pro-Rector's office, based in GIKI, Topi, is responsible for:

  • General administration of the Institute.
  • Hostel management and student accommodations.
  • Food and mess operations across the campus.
  • Campus security and related services.

Eligibility Criteria

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Educational & Professional Background: Candidates should have significant administrative experience, preferably in a senior government or institutional role.
  • Government Experience (Preferred): Preference will be given to recently retired senior civil government officials of the level of Joint Secretary or above, who have experience in liaising with Federal and Provincial governments.
  • Age Limit: Preferably under 65 years. However, age, experience, and qualifications may be relaxed in exceptional cases.
  • Compensation: Salary and benefits are negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
