Job Opportunity: Project Director – PMU Quetta
A leading national-level organization is seeking a highly qualified and motivated professional for the position of Project Director. This is a senior-level role based in Quetta, responsible for leading a major development project in Balochistan. The successful candidate will coordinate with the Head Office, government officials, and stakeholders to ensure that programme objectives are met effectively. The position also requires frequent travel to the target districts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the implementation of project interventions, ensuring all activities align with project design, organizational policies, and donor guidelines.
- Manage contracts with partner organizations, ensuring compliance with requirements and optimizing the use of programme funds.
- Act as the organization's representative in meetings with government authorities, donors, and other development stakeholders at provincial levels.
- Coordinate with implementing partners, consulting firms, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of project activities, timely deliverables, and financial releases.
- Facilitate donor missions, field visits, and external evaluations while fostering productive relationships with all partners.
- Collaborate with the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team to establish and implement M&E systems and ensure timely reporting to donors.
- Prepare and review programme reports, presentations, and knowledge products to ensure accurate documentation of progress and project visibility.
- Organize and participate in workshops, training sessions, and events to support the development and implementation of project strategies, work plans, and guidelines.
- Work closely with HR for the recruitment and management of project teams and ensure a robust feedback mechanism for beneficiary complaints.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- A Master's degree in social sciences, business administration, project management, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience, including at least 10 years in managing large-scale development projects.
- Proven track record of leadership and team management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
