The Endowment Fund Trust for Preservation of the Heritage of Sindh (EFT)

The Endowment Fund Trust (EFT), a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the cultural and architectural heritage of Sindh, is currently seeking detail-oriented, responsible, and experienced professionals for the following positions at its Karachi office:

1. Accountant

Location: Karachi
Job Type: Full-time

Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) with First Division.

  • Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized university.

Experience:

  • At least 2–3 years of practical experience in accounting with a reputable private limited company.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge in preparing financial documentation including invoices, bills, and accounts payable/receivable.

  • Proficient in performing bank reconciliations.

  • Familiarity with Pakistani tax laws, including GST and Income Tax.

  • Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Peachtree, or other ERP systems.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.

2. Civil Engineer

Location: Karachi
Job Type: Full-time

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Sc.) from a PEC-recognized university.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience, particularly in building restoration and construction supervision within Karachi.

  • Must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

Key Skills:

  • Expertise in site supervision and project management.

  • In-depth understanding of construction practices, materials, and techniques.

  • Ability to accurately read, interpret, and execute technical drawings and blueprints.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other industry-relevant software tools.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to prepare comprehensive progress reports.
