Career Opportunities at a Reputed Modaraba – Head Office, Karachi

A well-reputed Modaraba invites applications from dynamic and career-oriented professionals for the following positions based at its Head Office in Karachi:

1. Finance Officer

Qualification:

  • At least CA Inter or PIPFA.

  • OR a BBA/B.Com degree from a recognized institution.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in Finance or Audit.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of financial reporting standards, tax laws, and corporate regulations.

  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of compliance requirements.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

  • Sound accounting and management skills.

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems.

Age Limit:

  • Not more than 40 years.

2. Chief Internal Auditor

Qualification (any one of the following):

  • Member of a recognized body of professional accountants.

  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

  • Certified Internal Control Auditor (CICA).

  • Master’s degree in Finance from an HEC-recognized university.

Note: A professional qualification in Islamic Finance will be considered an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in Modaraba, NBFC, or Banking sectors.

Skills:

  • Highly motivated and result-oriented.

  • Strong leadership qualities.

  • In-depth knowledge of modern auditing techniques.

  • Thorough understanding of applicable regulations, laws, and best practices.

3. Officer Compliance

Qualification:

  • MBA or MA from an HEC-recognized university.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of working experience in Audit, Finance, or Compliance, preferably within Modaraba, NBFC, or Banking sectors.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.

  • Exposure to FATF and FATCA compliance regimes.

  • Familiarity with modern auditing techniques and applicable regulations.
