Founded by Dr. Ruth Pfau in 1956, the Marie Adelaide Leprosy Centre (MALC) operates 157 centers across Pakistan, providing exceptional healthcare services. We invite passionate and dedicated individuals to join our rehabilitation program for children with physical and developmental disabilities.
Available Positions and Requirements
1. PROGRAM MANAGER
- Role: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the program, including strategic planning, staff supervision, and ensuring that objectives are met effectively.
- Qualifications: Master’s degree in Management, Public Health, or related fields from an HEC-recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in program management, preferably in health or special needs programs.
2. PHYSIOTHERAPIST (2)
- Role: Provide treatments to enhance physical movement and manage pain, focusing on motor development.
- Qualifications: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in clinical practice.
3. OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (2)
- Role: Assist individuals in developing, recovering, and maintaining daily living and sensory integration skills.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an HEC-recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years, particularly in pediatric occupational therapy.
4. SPEECH THERAPIST (2)
- Role: Diagnose and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, enhancing patients’ abilities to communicate effectively.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in clinical or educational settings.
5. PSYCHOLOGIST (2)
- Role: Provide counseling to support mental health, emotional well-being, and behavioral management.
- Qualifications: Master’s degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology from an HEC-recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in clinical or counseling psychology.
6. PEDIATRICIAN (2)
- Role: Deliver medical care, including diagnosing and managing health issues such as developmental disorders.
- Qualifications: MBBS with FCPS in Pediatrics or equivalent from a PMDC-recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in pediatric clinical practice.
7. COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS (6)
- Role: Educate and raise awareness about developmental delays, facilitating access to services for families within the community.
- Qualifications: Matriculation with relevant community health training.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in community health work, with an understanding of developmental disorders.
8. LADY HEALTH WORKERS (4)
- Role: Provide basic health services and awareness in local communities, with a focus on early detection of developmental delays.
- Qualifications: Matriculation (SSC) with healthcare training.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in similar roles.
9. OFFICE ASSISTANTS (2)
- Role: Perform administrative tasks, maintain documentation, and assist staff in managing schedules.
- Qualifications: Intermediate (HSC) or Diploma in Office Management from a recognized institute.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in office administration.
10. CLEANERS (2)
- Role: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in program facilities, ensuring a safe environment for therapy sessions.
- Qualifications: Basic literacy skills.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in cleaning or housekeeping services, preferably in healthcare.
11. DRIVERS (4)
- Role: Safely transport staff, children, and materials, ensuring safety and punctuality.
- Qualifications: Valid LTV/HTV driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional driving.
12. GUARDS (2)
- Role: Monitor and control access to premises, ensuring safety and security.
- Qualifications: Matriculation (SSC).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in security services, preferably trained by a recognized organization.
13. COOKS (2)
- Role: Prepare and serve meals, considering the dietary and nutritional needs of children.
- Qualifications: Basic literacy and knowledge of food hygiene practices.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of cooking in institutional settings, preferably with experience in special diets.
