Applications are invited for the post of Principal at the Quetta Institute of Medical Sciences, Quetta Cantt.

Requisite Qualification/Experience:
Educational Qualifications:

MBBS or equivalent medical qualifications recognized/registered by PM&DC.
Professor with Level III qualification and requisite experience in the medical sciences specialty approved for teaching by SRC and recognized/registered by PM&DC.
A total of at least 15 research publications published in medical journals approved by PM&DC (Dissertation/Thesis shall not be counted).
Experience:

At least 5 years of administrative experience as Chief Executive/Principal/Vice Principal in a medical institution of public sector or 8 years in the private sector recognized by PM&DC.
Additional qualification in Medical Education MHPE (Master in Health Profession Education).
Other Requirements:

Basic qualification must be MBBS and all other qualifications, teaching experience, and research publications should be as per PM&DC (2018).

Note:
Applicants already in government service or in the service of autonomous bodies, corporations, etc., must apply through the proper channel. Advance copies may be submitted, and NOC should be provided at the time of the interview.
Preference will be given to professors having Level III qualification in medical sciences, with 15 research publications in the relevant subject, of which six should be during the last three years.
No TA/DA will be admissible.
