Post Details:

  • Age Requirement: 18-25 Years
  • Qualification:
    • M.Sc. in Zoology or BSc (Hons) in Agriculture Entomology from a recognized university, OR
    • B.Sc. in Zoology from a recognized university with a condition to acquire a postgraduate diploma in Medical Entomology and Disease Control within three years of appointment.

Additional Notes:

If no candidates with the above qualifications are available, the position may be filled by candidates holding a B.Sc. (second division) with one of the elective subjects in Biology, Zoology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Environmental Health, Agriculture (Entomology), or Medical Technology from a recognized university, with the same condition of obtaining a relevant postgraduate diploma within three years.

Recruitment Terms:

  • Appointment Basis: Temporary, renewable annually based on performance as per Punjab Government's policy.
  • Merit-Based Selection: Final merit list will follow the Punjab Government’s recruitment policy.
  • Termination Conditions: Any engagement in misconduct or absence may result in immediate termination.

Age Relaxation:

General age relaxation of up to five years for general candidates and three years for special categories as per government policy.
