Advertisement for Recruitment in AJK Police Band (Drummer, Pipe Player, and Band Men)

Subject: Recruitment Advertisement for Drummer, Pipe Player, and Band Men (BPS-5) in the Police Band of AJK.

Vacancy Details:
Applications are invited from domiciled residents of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and refugees from 1947 residing in Pakistan and 1989 residing in AJK, for permanent positions of Drummer, Pipe Player, and Band Men (BPS-5) in the Police Band of AJK. Eligible candidates must submit their applications by 15.10.2024 to the SP Reserve Office, Muzaffarabad.

Job Title & Grade:

  1. Pipe Band (03 vacancies)
  2. Drummer (BPS-5) - 09 vacancies
  3. Band Men (BPS-5) - Various Instruments
    • Instruments include Pipe, Side Drum, Tenor Drum, Bagpipe, Clarinet, Trombone, etc.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years.
  • Minimum Education: Middle-level qualification.
  • Experience:
    • Must be qualified from a recognized School of Music for Pipe or Brass Band Courses.
    • Ex-servicemen should not have a gap of more than 7 years between their military discharge and the application.

Required Documents:

  • Certified copies of educational certificates, domicile, NIC, and three passport-size photos.
  • Original documents to be presented on 21.10.2024, Monday, at 9:00 AM, at the Police Lines Headquarters, Muzaffarabad.

Selection Process:

  • Document verification and music instrument performance test will be conducted.
  • Selected candidates will undergo background checks; any criminal record or unsatisfactory information will result in cancellation of the selection.
  • Incomplete applications will not be entertained.

Important Notes:

  • Selected candidates' appointment orders will only be issued after security clearance.
  • Candidates will not be entitled to TA/DA.
