CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

The Institute is inviting applications from qualified and experienced candidates holding Sindh domicile for the following contractual positions:

1. Controller of Examinations (BPS-20)

Department: Examination
Age Limit: 50 years (Maximum)

Qualifications/Experience:

  • PhD from an HEC-recognized university, with at least 12 years of teaching/administrative experience in BPS-17 or above or an equivalent post in a Government or Autonomous Organization, University, Board, or College.
    OR
  • MS/MPhil (18 years of education) or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university, with 15 years of teaching/administrative experience in BPS-17 or above.
    OR
  • MA/MSc/Bachelor’s/MBA (16 years of education), preferably in first class, from an HEC-recognized university, with 17 years of teaching/administrative experience in BPS-17 or above.

Competencies:

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Outcome-Based Assessment (OBA).
  • Experience managing pre-examination and post-examination processes and policies.

2. Additional Controller of Examinations (BPS-19 Equivalent)

Department: Examination
Age Limit: 50 years (Maximum)

Qualifications/Experience:

  • PhD from an HEC-recognized university, with 10 years of teaching/administrative experience in BPS-17 or above or an equivalent post in a Government or Autonomous Organization, University, Board, or College.
    OR
  • MS/MPhil (18 years of education) or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university, with 12 years of teaching/administrative experience in BPS-17 or above.
    OR
  • MA/MSc/Bachelor’s/MBA (16 years of education), preferably in first class, from an HEC-recognized university, with 15 years of teaching/administrative experience in BPS-17 or above.

Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and planning skills.

  • Ability to manage pre-examination and post-examination processes and policies.

Instructions:

  • Submit a complete application form (downloadable from website), including:

    • A detailed resume.
    • Two recent passport-sized photographs.
    • Attested copies of academic certificates/degrees.
    • Names and contact details of two professional referees (non-relatives).
    • A non-refundable fee of PKR 3000 through Demand Draft in favor of the Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences Gambat, Khairpur Mirs.

  • Government/Semi-Government employees must apply through proper channels with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer.

  • Application Deadline: Within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement, during office hours (CoB). Only applications received via registered postal services will be entertained.

  • Contract Duration: Initially for 3 years, extendable for up to 2 years based on performance. Non-pensionable service subject to approval by the competent forum.
