CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Position: Chief Internal Auditor

Pakistan Steel, a leading industrial organization comprising diverse departments and complexes, invites applications for the position of Chief Internal Auditor. The selected candidate will oversee financial operations, strategic planning, and internal audit functions while supporting organizational goals, including privatization processes.

Qualifications:

  • Member of a recognized professional accounting body with qualifications such as CA/CPA/ACMA/ACCA/MBA (Finance).
  • Degree must be obtained from a reputed local or international university/institute.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in:
    • Auditing and risk management.
    • Designing internal control procedures.
    • Ensuring financial compliance and reliability in public/private sectors.
    • Understanding governance, risks, and control systems.

Experience:

  • Minimum: 5 years in relevant fields.

General Terms and Conditions:

  1. Age Limit:
    • Maximum: 50 years.
  2. Contract Basis:
    • Initial appointment for 1 year, extendable with mutual consent.
  3. Remuneration:
    • Market-competitive salary and benefits.
  4. Selection Process:
    • Extraneous influence during the selection process will lead to immediate disqualification.
    • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
  5. TA/DA:
    • Not admissible for interviews.
