Vacancy Announcement

Pakistan’s IT and IT-enabled Services (ITeS) sector is experiencing phenomenal growth in export revenues. The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), under the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, is the Apex body responsible for the development, capacity building, export growth, and brand building of Pakistan’s IT and ITeS industry globally.

To support this mission, PSEB requires professional resources on a contractual basis for the following positions:


Available Positions

1. Chief Industry Development Officer

  • Age Limit: 55 Years
  • Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • Minimum 18 years of education in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or Management from an HEC-recognized local or international university.
    • Higher degrees in Management, Business Administration, or Finance will be preferred.
    • PMP certification is an advantage.
    • Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience in handling skills development programs, infrastructure development, regulatory affairs, taxation, ease of doing business, and industry-academia linkages.
    • At least 5 years of demonstrable project management experience.
    • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a technology-driven organization.

2. Director Marketing & Branding

  • Age Limit: 50 Years
  • Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • Minimum 16 years of education in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Journalism, Mass Communication, International Relations, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
    • Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in marketing, branding, public relations, media handling, and corporate communications.
    • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the IT/Tech sector.

3. Manager Digital Media & Content Creation

  • Age Limit: 45 Years
  • Reports to: Director Marketing & Branding
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • Minimum 16 years of education in Journalism, Media Studies, Mass Communication, or International Relations from an HEC-recognized university.
    • Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in content writing, digital media marketing, and campaign management.
    • Experience in the IT/Tech sector will be preferred.

4. Coordinator Training & Certifications

  • Age Limit: 40 Years
  • Reports to: Director Capacity Building
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Management, or Business Administration.
    • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in coordinating training and certification programs.
    • Experience in the public sector, IT, and freelancing ecosystem is desirable.

5. Manager Finance & Accounts

  • Age Limit: 45 Years
  • Reports to: Director Finance
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • Minimum 16 years of education in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent discipline.
    • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in financial management, audit, and compliance.
    • CA (Inter)/CAF with 5 years of relevant experience, including articles, is preferred.
    • Preference for candidates with experience in public sector organizations or multinational companies.

6. Assistant Manager Finance

  • Age Limit: 40 Years
  • Reports to: Manager Finance & Accounts
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • Minimum 16 years of education in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
    • At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in finance, audit, or accounting.
    • CA (Inter)/CAF with 5 years of relevant experience, including articles, is preferred.

7. Company Secretary

  • Age Limit: 50 Years
  • Reports to: Director Finance
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • CA/ICMA/MBA (Finance)/LLB or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university.
    • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate governance, legal compliance, and regulatory affairs.
    • Preference for candidates with experience in public sector organizations or multinational companies.

8. Director Operations & HR

  • Age Limit: 50 Years
  • Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • Minimum 16 years of education in Business Administration, HR, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in HR management, operations, and organizational development.
    • Preference for candidates with experience in government organizations or IT companies.

9. Manager Strategy & Partnerships

  • Age Limit: 45 Years
  • Reports to: Director Strategy & Partnerships
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • Minimum 16 years of education in Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in partnerships, business development, and international relations.
    • Experience in Government-to-Government (G2G) collaboration is a plus.

10. Assistant Manager Strategy & Partnerships

  • Age Limit: 40 Years
  • Reports to: Manager Strategy & Partnerships
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • Minimum 16 years of education in Marketing, Business Administration, or International Relations.
    • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in strategy development and partnership management.

11. Assistant Manager Procurements

  • Age Limit: 40 Years
  • Reports to: Director Finance
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • Minimum 16 years of education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Finance.
    • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in procurement, supply chain management, and vendor management.
    • Preference for candidates with experience in public sector organizations or multinational companies.

12. Accounts Assistant

  • Age Limit: 30 Years
  • Reports to: Manager Finance & Accounts
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • Minimum 14 years of education in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
    • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and accounting.
