CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Position: ATR Pilots, First Officers & Captains
Organization: Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is seeking passionate aviators for the positions of ATR Pilots, First Officers, and Captains. Applications are invited for the positions to join the airline’s fleet.


Requirements:

Qualification:

  • Minimum Intermediate 2nd Division or equivalent from a recognized institution.

Professional Qualification:

  • Valid CPL/ATPL with IR from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority as per job requirements.

Flying Experience:

  • Captain: Minimum 1500 flying hours.

  • First Officer: Minimum 500 flying hours.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with P1/P2 experience on multi-engine or jet aircraft.

Maximum Age:

  • Captains: Up to 50 years as of the last date of submission of the application.

  • First Officers: Up to 40 years as of the last date of submission of the application.

Medical:

  • Valid Class-1 medical from Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority.

Vacancies:

  • Two (02) years contract, extendable based on company needs and satisfactory performance.


Selection Procedure:

  1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): Eligible candidates will undergo a CBT by an independent Testing Agency based on the approved syllabus. Test scores will be displayed on the candidate's screen upon completion.

  2. Preliminary Interview: Candidates with 70% or more marks in CBT will be invited for a preliminary interview, including a flying aptitude test.

  3. Medical Evaluation: Candidates will undergo psychiatric/medical evaluation by a Medical Board.

  4. Flight Check: Candidates cleared by the Medical Board will undergo a Flight Check (at their own expense).

  5. Final Interview: Successful candidates who pass the Flight Check will be invited for a final interview.

Only successful candidates will be informed after the entire process.


Salary Package:

An attractive salary package will be offered, based on experience and ATR-42/72 Type Rating. The selected candidates will be required to submit a refundable bank guarantee of PKR 5,000,000 (Fifty Lacs) after two years of productive service. Employment is subject to signing a training bond of USD 15,000, prorated over two years.
